South Winneshiek CSD has the following openings for the 2025-2026 school year:

  • Special Education Director
    • Required Class B License, K-12 Special Education Supervisor - Evaluator
  • K-12 Special Education Teacher (1.0 FTE)
    • Required endorsements: Instructional Strategist I & II
  • High School English Teacher
    • Required Endorsement: 5-12 English Language Arts
  • High School Assistant Softball Coach (2025 summer)

All positions are full-time with insurance benefits, except the football & softball coaching positions.

We are always looking for the following positions below:

  • Substitute Teachers for K-12 (Please call the District Office if interested)
  • Route, Substitute Route and Activity Bus Drivers (Please call the District Office if interested)
  • Paraeducators at the Elementary & Middle School (district will train)
    • Part-time and Full-time positions available (Full-time positions include insurance benefits)
    • Paraeducator with AA/BA Substitute or Teaching license - part-time
  • Substitute Kitchen Workers at the Elementary/Middle School in Ossian
