Board of Education Special Meeting Minutes
August 7, 2018
The August 7, 2018 special board meeting of the South Winneshiek Community School District Board of Education was called to order at 5:10 pm by vice-president Bob Busch.
Roll Call: Present: Don Schroeder, Patricia Schissel, Bob Busch. Absent: Jenny Johnson and Wendy Mihm-Herold.
Moved by Schissel and seconded by Schroeder to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Vice president Busch welcomed visitors.
New Business:
- Moved by Schroeder and seconded by Schissel to approve the bid by Reilly Construction to add an additional 190’ of culvert at the Calmar Athletic Complex not to exceed $15,240 with the understanding that the City of Calmar will bring in fill and the adjoining neighbor, Lester Timp, approves the work being done. Motion carried.
Moved by Schissel and seconded by Schroeder to adjourn at 5:45 pm. Motion carried.
