The South Winneshiek CSD Board of education held a special board meeting on May 9, 2022 in the band room in Ossian. The meeting was called to order by board president Wendy Mihm-Herold at 5:30 pm.
Roll Call: Present: Don Schroeder, Patricia Schissel. Present by phone: Wendy Mihm-Herold. Absent: Craig Neuzil and Ron Hemesath.
Moved by Schroeder and seconded by Schissel to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried.
Mihm-Herold welcomed visitors.
Moved by Schissel and seconded by Schroeder to open the public hearing on the amended FY22 School Budget. Motion carried. There were no comments from the public.
Moved by Schroeder and seconded by Schissel to close the public hearing on the amended FY22 School Budget. Motion carried.
Old Business: None
New Business: Moved by Schissel and seconded by Schroeder to approve the amended FY22 School Budget adding $500,000 to Instruction, $300,000 to Total Support Services and $100,000 to Noninstructional programs. Motion carried.
