Dear South Winn Community-
As we continue to engage our community around our facility needs at South Winn High School and the proposed solution on the ballot this November, we would like to invite you to some upcoming school tours.
Below are the details for each event:
-
Thursday, October 16, at 6:00 p.m. (during our home volleyball match)
-
Wednesday, October 22, at 7:00 pm
-
Tuesday, October 28, 4:00-8:00 p.m. (during parent-teacher conferences)
-
Thursday, October 30, 4:00-8:00 p.m. (during parent-teacher conferences)
If you are interested in taking part, please meet us outside the high school office at the designated time. We will then lead tour groups through the building, taking a look at some of our most significant facility needs.
In addition, you can email or call me (at 563-562-3226) to schedule a separate time to take a tour if none of the above dates or times work well for you.
For context, our community will vote on a $13 million bond referendum for the South Winneshiek Community School District on Tuesday, November 4. If it’s approved, the district will renovate and expand our high school to approximately 81,610 square feet, creating a modern 21st century learning environment that serves both students and the broader community.

We look forward to hosting families and community members at these upcoming school tours. We hope to see you there! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Brennan Williams
High School Principal
