Quick tips for your computer:
- Is it plugged in?
- Shut down on a regular basis
- Turn wi-fi off/back on
- Clear your cache
- Restart/Refresh
- Update when prompted
- *If a student has had the computer plugged in overnight & it still won’t turn on, try this:
- Plug the computer in while it’s open.
- On the top row of the keyboard, hold down the ‘refresh’ key (above the 4/$ key) & then tap the power button once.
- This should jump start the computer to get it going again.
- *If a student computer is not responding, perform a ‘hard’ shutdown.
- Hold the power button until the screen goes black
- Tap the power button to restart the computer.
- Remote Desktop Assistance – student must be online & must click ‘allow’
- *Teachers- if you’re not able to connect to your streaming device, connect your HDMI cord.
- If you have tried all of the above & it still doesn’t work, contact Mr. Johnson
